Hello little Mya
I'm going to try to write more often - I say that all the time to myself. I've been seeing you on Skype. Mummy and Daddy are letting your hair grow longer and longer - and mummy puts a little clip in it to keep it back off your forehead - but as soon as she does that - you pull it out! Way to go Mya!!!
I think I may be coming to see you in July as mummy is having shoulder surgery. She won't be able to pick you up. I wonder how you will take that? You will be confused I'm sure - but grammy will try to help out.
I have a cold and sore throat and a sore back - some fun. But at least the weather is getting warmer and believe it or not there were two ducks in our back yard feeding on the birdseed! I thought birdseed would get birds - not ducks.
When I see you on Skype you are running all around, playing, playing, playing and very very busy! You are so very cute - and you love your mummy and daddy. Mummy says when Daddy comes through the door you do a little dance and turn around in a circle! How cute is that?
I sent you and mummy and daddy a chocolate chip pound cake this week - I wonder if you had a piece of it? It is for mummy on mother's day.
Me and Milt are watching the Red Sox game. They are playing the Yankees - your father's and Milt's favorite team. You should see all the players spitting and spitting - what is WITH these guys? It is funny sometimes as you will find out too - guys are just plain funny!
Your other grammy Tagley says "can't live with 'em, can't kill em!". Enough for now.

Dear Mya
It's been a long time since I've written to you. One reason is that I had a visit with you in February! You are growing and changing so quickly - and you are still that VERY curious girl when it comes to playing with toys, and walking about (which you are pretty good at now!).
I made you some soup - which you liked I believe - it was Green Soup - and mummy should have the recipe! I made carrot soup too. It was good because the weather was cold and damp and snowy the whole time i was there - so we couldn't go out too much.
Mummy and I bought you lots of clothes for the summer though at Target. It is so much fun to buy clothes for Miss Mya. (:
You taught me how to play a game while i was there. In your bedroom, you started running around in a circle into the hallway then back around in your bedroom and around and around you went - then when you bumped into me you would run into my arms laughing and laughing! How smart are you to think up that fun game??? You are very very quick too - so grammy had to be careful that you would not head right down the stairs and take a header into the floor!!!
Another game we played was that you had a little wooden cart with four wheels and you would sit on it and I would push you around. You just loved this and smiled and smiled and around the room we went many times.
And, when I changed you you have started wildly kicking your little feet and laughing so much that I couldn't get your clean diaper on or you pants on you. You are just cute enough to eat - and if you were more cuter then nobody could stand it!!!!
Well, sadly I had to come home and leave you there in Bouder, Colorado. Now, we skype with you and see you walking all around, waving bye bye, signing you are hungry and saying thank you. Your mummy and daddy are very smart to teach you this because then you can make your needs known without saying a word.
It is becoming spring around here pretty quickly in Acton, MA. i went to my yoga class last night and another lady asked me if i had any granddchildren - and I told her about you. She was sad when i told her that you lived so far away - but what is a grammy to do? I'm going to have to work on a magic potion to dab on the tip of my nose to make myself appear in boulder anytime i want to visit with you - so far progress is slow though................
I have been working hard and doing some gardening around the house here. My little kitty Casey is wanting to go out more and more to explore the yard. She is a cute kitty and I think she is about ten years old now. I want to do some more planting of flowers and things around the house but I need to get a new lower back!!! the one i have now is old and creaky
Mummy and Daddy are quite in love with you and they love to tell everyone about everthing that you do on your blog Sugar and Spice! You are going to have a lot to read when you get older - because we all love you so much.
I just baked a chocolate chip pound cake for you and mummy and daddy and sent it to you with a purple dress and another top and pants for the summer! I hope you like them and I will surely be writing again soon.
